    In order to bring the necessary presence and focus to each session I intentionally limit the number of clients I see to prevent burnout.

    Below are my out of network fees.

    Individual Therapy

    First Appointment: $175

    Ongoing Appointments: $150

  • Insurance

    Lauren Valencia LCSW and Valencia Counseling, LLC are out of network with insurance.

    I provide superbills for my clients and recommend utilizing a service, like Mentaya, to seek reimbursement.

    Working with an out-of-network provider has potential advantages, such as:

    Enhanced privacy and confidentiality – your personal information stays strictly between us.

    Freedom to choose a therapist who truly aligns with your personality and specific needs.

    A more personalized therapy experience, without restrictions from an insurance company regarding session limits.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Please cancel at least 24 hours beforehand to avoid late cancelation or no-show fees.

    Cancelations with less than 24 hours notice and no shows will be required to pay the full cost of the appointment.
